  • Arrest of Ma'dani Inhuman: SDPI

Kollam: The arrest of Abdunnasir Ma'dani by the police of Karnataka and the support given by their Kerala counterparts at a time when his anticipatory bail application is to be considered by Supreme Court is condemnable and inhuman activity, alleged Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI). Ma'dani, who is also the political leader in Kerala has been living with police protection. And the actions of police who included the name of Ma’dani in the Bangalore serial blast case, on the basis of the statement by an accused in the case, is a blatant injustice, said state vice president Moovattupuzha Ashraf Maulavi. He should have at least given the consideration of a person who has been exonerated by Tamilnadu high court in Coimbatore blast case after long nine and half years in jail. This is a part of the ploy by some vested interests to put Muslim leaders and young people behind the bars by falsely implicating them in terror activities all over India. And it is noted that at least 10 blasts occurred recently across the country were the handiworks of Hindutwa organizations, as proved by some security agencies.
And it’s the Karnataka government, which has withdrawn 18 cases against Sri Ram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik, who was caught in the camera demanding money for fermenting communal violence, trying to implicate Ma’dani in false cases, Moulavi alleged.
He also said that SDPI would organize together peoples from minority communities and backward classes to stand up against this kind of state terrorism.
