  • SDPI conducts protest demanding dissolution of state government


    Mangalore: Social Democratic Party of India, Dakshin Kannada district unit conducted a protest demanding dissolution of the state BJP government, in front of District Commissioner’s office, Mangalore on Friday. The party alleged that BJP government is administrating the state against the democratic value.


    Speaking to protestors SDPI state president Majeed Kodlipete alleged that BJP had unstable the democracy in the state by miss using the power.

    He criticized that the state, which had involved in corruption, sex scandals, resort politics has forgotten the interest of the people, who elected them. It has desecrated the Vidhan Soudha by performing unscientific practices.

    He also said that the second chance to prove confident moss ion for the Yaddyurappa led government, which earlier had prevented the opposition members from entering to the House, has caused to second round of horse trading and corruption.
    Anvar Sadath, state committee member, in his introductory speech said that, democracy has been murdered in the state. Failure of main opposition congress is also reason for the same.  

    SDPI district committee member Krishnappa Sunnaje urged that central government should dissolve the state government as it was acting against the interest of the people.
    State committee members Azeez Surathkal, SDPI district president Jaleel Krishnapur, vice president Prakash Shetti surinje were present at the dais.

    Muhammad Nasir welcomed while Prakash Shetti delivered vote of thanks. Salim Guruvayanakere coordinated the program.
