Votes for Protectors of Backward Interests: SDPI
Kozhikkode: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) will vote in the local bodies election in Kerala where SDPI candidates are not contesting for the candidates who were working for the interests of dalit, adivasi, backward and minority communities, informed state president Adv. K P Muhammed Shareef and general secretary Abdul Majeed Faizee.
Leaders also requested the people of the state to vote for SDPI candidates who were working for the development and betterment of the state social and economical emancipation of marginalised sections. They also said that only SDPI would be able to uplift them to the power centers. Those who were keeping these groups away from power corridors all these years and using them as mere vote banks, have come up now with the allegation of communalism and terrorism. SDPI leaders warned the people not to fall into these traps and elect SDPI candidates.
