  • SDPI demands Presidential Rule in Karnataka

    Social Democratic Party of India condemned the recent developments in the Karnataka politics.
    State president of the party, Abdul Majid said, in press release that leaving all democratic values aside, Members of Legislative Assembly (MLA) has murdered democracy by involving in defection, buying and selling their selves.

    He said Administrative party is misusing speaker chair for its own benefits. Incidents like disqualifying MLAs, not fixing any appropriate time to give response for the notice, restricting media persons and preventing opposition leaders from entering House, police inside the House are first in the history of the nation.

    He added that SDPI strongly condemns imposing restriction on Media representatives, they are considered as fourth machine of administration, from entering the House and police manhandling them.

    He said all above mentioned acts are dishonesty for the people and constitution of the country, adding that his party demands honored governor to dissolve the Government and to impose presidential rule in the state as constitutional crisis has been raised in the state.
