BBMP Election: good Performance by SDPI Candidates
Bangalore: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) Candidate Prof. NaZni Begum, Msc from Padarayanapura Ward, Bangalore won the BBMP election held here on on 28th Mar 2010. Nazni Begum bagged 6230 votes and won by 2030 votes against JDS candidate Zarina, who is in second place with 4,200 votes. Congress secured third place with 1400 votes while BJP gained 4th place with 390 votes here.
In D.J.Halli ward SDPI candidate Hemalata, MBA secured third place with 2450 votes while Congress candidate Govindaraj won the contest with 6,391 votes. JDS candidate is in second slot with 4,450 votes.
Also in JJR Nagar SDPI managed to secure third place with Ayesha Banu bagging 2017 votes. Seema Sanam, a congress candidate, won the election with 6,883 votes while second and forth placed JDS and BJP bagged 4,568 and 1,437 votes respectively.
SDPI Candidate Mujahid Pasha.A, BSc from Siddapura ward bagged 2,374 votes while winning candidate Uday Shankar from congress party bagged 5,326 votes. JDS candidate Sardar bagged 3720 votes to get second place while BJP in third place with 2,675 votes.
In Manorayanapalya ward SDPI candidate Asma Tahir, Bsc secured 1064 votes while congress candidate Ayisha Fouzia won the election with 6,146 votes. The BJP candidate Lokanath is in second place with 4325 votes.
In J.C.Nagar ward Congress candidate Govindraj won the election with 6,391 votes while BJP candidate Ganeshrav secured second place with 5858 votes. JDS and SDPI got third and fourth place with 642 votes and 294 votes respectively.
