  • Outdated parties Clear Ways for SDPI: Abdul Rasheed Agwan

Kottayam: Outdated parties in the country are clearing the way for Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), said Abdul Rasheed Agwan, national council member from Delhi.

He was speaking at a public meeting at Kottayam town, as part of the two day reception accorded to Jana Kerala Yathra in the district yesterday.
Day by day the rich in our country are becoming more and more rich while the poor here are struggling for basic necessities of life. The backward, minority, Dalit people are being the victims of pre-planned communal violence perpetrated by Hindutwa forces.
In West Bengal, where the so called people’s party is in power for decades, the situation of common man is pathetic- he added.
SDPI is the party of today and tomorrow. People from all over the country are eagerly accepting the party. Within a short span of time SDPI could make its presence in 17 states and formed state level committees in 12 states- he said.
The district level public meeting was inaugurated by Bajhamin Shah, leader of Manipur state SDPI.

Hundreds of people participated in the public program conducted at Market Junction in Kottayam.
Yathra experienced the enthusiasm of people at various reception centers in district.
Yathra entered Alappuzha district today. It will conclude in state capital, Thiruvananthapuram on 24th of this month.
Jana Kerala Yathra’ organised by Social Democratic Party of India was flagged off at a largely-attended public function at Hosangady Kasarkode on 2nd of this month, creating a new wave of enthusiasm and confidence among backward sections of the society.
