SDPI office Inauguration & Felicitation for elected candidates
DK: SDPI office Inauguration and felicitation programme for newly elected candidates was conducted recently at Maddadka, Dakshin Kannada.
Hanif Khan Kodaje, Dakshin Kannada district president of Social Democratic Party of India, inaugurated the party office and SDPI backed candidates, who won the Gram Panchayath election from neighbouring wards, were also felicitated in this occasion.
The candidates who were felicitated are Alfons Franko, Muhammad Ali, Kamala and Fathima.
Speaking to gathering Hanif Kodaje said real faces of the parties which were cliam themselves as secular had been revealed with SDPI come in to existence.There is a need of political empowerment for Muslims, Daliths and Backward communities he added.
Muhammad Raziuddin, President of SDPI belthangady constituency, Devi Prasad, Editor of Jai Kannad weekly, Usman Alandila, President of Nurul Huda Jumma Masjid Maddadka, Lanci Pirera, vice president of Church Palana Mandali, Salim Guruvayankere, the party sertary of Dakshin Kannada, Akbar, General Secretary Alfons Franko, Muhammad Ali, Kamala, Fathima and Abdul Razaq were present at the dais.
Unus Amin, president of Maddadka unit welcomed while Salih delivered vote of thanks.
